Morgridge Community Engagement is a partnership effort of the Morgridge Institute for Research and the Wisconsin Alumni Research Foundation. Headquartered in the Discovery Building, their group produces a variety of informal science events for the community.
- Brainstorm ideas for new outreach activities that engage students with science and research
- Creation of materials to use in outreach activities
- Organization and deployment of materials at outreach events
- Facilitate/teach outreach activities with program visitors
- Work alongside members of Morgridge Community Engagement to develop and deploy summer programs
- Students will learn how to effectively communicate with a broad cross-section of community members that visit programs
- Students may contribute to the creation of new outreach modules taught to program visitors
- Students will interact with a variety of campus research topics as they are taught in outreach settings
- Science communications
