DISCOVERY OUTREACH

Discovery Outreach is a partnership effort of the Morgridge Institute for Research and the Wisconsin Alumni Research Foundation. Headquartered in the Discovery Building, their group produces a variety of informal science events for the community.

  • Brainstorm ideas for new outreach activities that engage students with science and research
  • Creation of materials to use in outreach activities
  • Organization and deployment of materials at outreach events
  • Facilitate/teach outreach activities with program visitors
  • Work alongside members of Discovery Outreach to develop and deploy summer programs

 

  • Students will learn how to effectively communicate with a broad cross-section of community members that visit programs
  • Students may contribute to the creation of new outreach modules taught to program visitors
