Jazmine is a current grad student in the School of Social Work at University of Wisconsin – Madison. She completed her bachelors of social work from North Central University, located in Minneapolis, MN. Jazmine is serving as the Basic Needs Assistant for the 2019 – 2020 academic year. She is focused on helping students apply for FoodShare (SNAP), get resources for food insecurity, navigate BadgerCare, and working with the Student Success Center at the Office of Student Financial Aid. Jazmine is passionate about helping students – especially first generation (like herself) and low income. She has previously interned at Lutheran Social Services in St. Paul with the post adoption department. When she is not busy working on her education, Jazmine enjoys traveling, reading, going to the movies, and advocating for an array of human rights issues.
