Meet Your Student Employment Peer Advisor!
Hi! My name is Mai-Linh (My-Lyn), and I am the Student Employment Peer Advisor within the Office of Financial Aid for the ‘26-’27 academic year. I am so excited to be available to students to help navigate student employment and provide resources and feedback on various aspects of the student job search. I graduated from the University of Wisconsin – La Crosse in 2025 with a Bachelor of Science in Psychology, with a minor in legal studies. I am currently working toward my Masters in Social Work here at UW. In school I also was a student employee, and can relate to some of the struggles that come with finding jobs and balancing school and work.
Outside of Student Employment I enjoy spending time outside (without spiders), playing video games, doing random crafts, making sourdough, working out, and eating good food. Feel free to contact me about Student Employment or other resources, and I would be happy to set up a time to meet with you!
