WISCIENCE, the Wisconsin Institute for Science Education and Community Engagement, is a unit that partners across UW-Madison school/college boundaries and the community to increase the effectiveness of science education and promote the success of all students.
- Be part of a team that develops outreach and community engagement programs for scientists and researchers on the UW-Madison campus
- Work closely with a graduate assistant, intern, and UW-Madison staff to perform office and programming activities
- This project is funded by a National Science Foundation grant to WISCIENCE from the Advancing Informal STEM Learning program
- Insights into the education and outreach support system for scientists at UW-Madison
- Contribute to the development of an education and support program that spans multiple events to meet campus and individual needs
