Student Jobs Site Information
Job Types
UW Student Jobs: Part-time, student hourly positions on the UW-Madison campus. This can include campus office assistants, undergraduate lab positions, dining hall positions, and similar opportunities.
Local Student Jobs: Part-time positions off-campus in the greater Madison community. This can include local restaurants, child-care positions, clothing stores, business offices, and similar opportunities.
Local Work-Study Student Jobs: Part-time, student hourly positions in the greater Madison community that utilize, and in some cases, require, the Federal Work-Study award. Includes non-profit and small-business organizations that partner with UW-Madison.
UW Student Assistant: Positions for graduate students on the UW-Madison campus. This can include teaching assistantships, project assistantships, research assistantships, and similar opportunities.

Looking for a specific position or job description? Use the search bar on the left hand side of the job board. There, you can search for anything which may appear within the posting.
Job Alerts
On the Browse Jobs page, there is a gray button in the top right corner that says “Job Alerts”. Click this button to be taken to the Student Job Alerts page. Enter your email address and select categories of jobs or enter keywords you want to be alerted to. At the bottom of the page, hit “Subscribe” to receive an email notification when new jobs are posted in those categories or with the keywords you entered.
